The headquarters as well as the Math and Mission centres conducted regular classes, lectures, general and textbook libraries as well as other cultural activities. Mention may be made of the Pangot centre, a cultural-cum-retreat centre for in-depth study and practice of Vedanta, which maintained a well-furnished library with books in different languages for the students and scholars who came from different parts of the world. A special effort was made, mainly by the Thrissur Math, to spread Sanskrit education among women and girls. The Math and the Mission also published books as well as periodicals, namely, NIBODHATA, a bi-monthly journal in Bengali and SAMVIT, a bi-annual journal in English.
