This Institution started in 1962. The centre conducts the following activities:

Junior Basic School from classes I to IV.

Nivedita Vidyaniketan: Kindergarten Department for the children of 3 years to 5 years.  This has three sections namely Nursery for 3+ children, K.G.I for 4+ children and Pre-I for 5+ children. This Kindergarten School is named as Nivedita Vidyaniketan.

Free Primary

Free Primary School: It conducts six days a week for the needy children of the locality. These students are supplied with daily nutritious Tiffin, uniform dresses. school bags, warm garments, text as well as exercise books and study materials. Medical aid is given to them whenever necessary. Along with the children of Junior Basic School and Nivedita Vidyaniketan, these children participate in Independence Day celebration, Annual function and sports.

Coaching Classes for the needy children of Free Primary School are regularly conducted for six days a week from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

Childrens' Library: To avail of the books, children have library periods once a week. There are 1080 books.

Computer classes for Junior Basic School students are conducted with an aim to give an opportunity to learn the use of computers. Once a week, Music, Painting, Handiwork and Paper Cutting classes are taken for Kindergarten as well as Junior Basic children. Handiwork exhibition takes place yearly.

School Annual Function

Celebrations: Every alternate year, the School Annual Function with prize giving celebration takes place. Every year Saraswati Puja is celebrated with all solemnity. Independence Day and Ravindra Jayanti are observed every year. Children participate in March-past & salute, drills and speak on the lives of great patriots and also put up a small drama based on the life of some patriot. Sports is conducted annually and prizes are given to the winners.

Help to Needy

Welfare activities: financial help for medicines, clothes are given to a few needy people of the locality. Woollen garments as well as blankets are distributed among the needy.
