Coaching Class

This unit was started under Mission headquarters on 20th May 2008, Buddhapurnima Day in the backward and remote village of Baladbandh on a plot of two acres of land gifted to the Mission for welfare activities. From April 2023, the unit has been made a seperate branch centre of the Ramakrishna Sarada Mission.
The centre runs: coaching classes for children (average attendance: 250). Study material as well as light tiffin is given to all of them. Vocational training in tailoring, embroidery and other handicrafts is also given to the village women.
Occasional medical camps are arranged for the benefit of the poor villagers.
Pravrajika Mokshaprana Smriti Granthagar (Library) is maintained for local ladies and children.
Sarees, children’s garments etc. are distributed at the time of Durga Puja, and blankets and warm garments are given in winter.
Every year, 12th January, Swami Vivekananda's Birthday - National Youth Day is celebrated with procession of children and devotees, followed by a short programme on life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda. Cooked prasad is destributed to all.
Religious classes are conducted regulerly for lady devotees.
