Sri Sarada Math, Ernakulam, Kerala
Conducted for sometime under the Thrissur Math, the centre became a separate branch of Sri Sarada Math in September 1987. Situated on gifted property in the heart of the city, the centre runs an Old Age Home for women. The total number of women is around 35. They have a daily routine and they do spiritual practices like chanting of scriptures and attending spiritual discourses and attending evening arati and bhajans. These women take active part in all celebrations and help monastic members of the Math in many ways. They attend the prayers both in the morning and evening in the centre's shrine and spacious prayer hall. They live in a homely atmosphere the whole day and many prefer to stay here. The psychology of the old is that they need attention which they receive here. When they are sick, proper medical attention is also given. Among them three are financially backward. The centre is meeting all their expenses.
Regular religious and cultural activities as well as birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi, Swami Vivekananda and other spiritual teachers are observed.

If you want peace of mind, do not find fault with others. Rather learn to see your own faults. Make the whole world your own. No one is a stranger, my child; this is your own.
