Foundation stone of a new educational complex

The General Secretary laid the foundation stone on 4th March 2023 for the construction of a new educational complex under RKSM NIHAR at 19 Ma Saradamoni Sarani, Baghbazar. Trustees, Sannyasinis and devotees attended the function. Dr. Shashi Panja, Minister of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare, West Bengal and many official dignitaries were also present.

Inauguration of Dental Clinic

On 25th April, 2023, the General Secretary inaugurated the Dental Clinic and a few special OPD along with an advanced Physiotherapy Unit with a Ladies Gym at the Sevayan dispensary in the presence of Trustees and Doctors of Kusum Devi Sunderlal Duger Jain Dental College and Hospital. Other eminent doctors, devotees and sannyasinis were also present. The General Secretary gave a benedictory address and a few short speeches were given by the doctors.
The dental clinic will be managed by the above hospital.

Nibodhata Patrika received an award for its Sterling Services in the field of spreading spiritual awareness from Sutradhar Publishers in memory of Saraladebi Choudhurani on her 150th birth anniversary on 30th April 2023.

The newly constructed guest house of the Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, Dirang was inaugurated on 23rd February 2023 by Sri Phurpa Tsering, Hon’ble MLA of Dirang and advisor to Home Minister, Arunachal Pradesh in the presence of Pravrajika Atandraprana, Asst. General Secretary, Pravrajika Anilaprana, Secretary of the Centre and many other official dignitaries. There was also a cultural programme by the children of the School in his honour on this third day of Losar, a special festival of Arunachal Pradesh.

Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, Siriti

The Ramakrishna Sarada Mission, Siriti inaugurated its Silver Jubilee Celebration on 11th March 2023 – Swami Yogananda's birthday. On this occasion Pravrajika Amalaprana, General Secretary dedicated the newly constructed prayer hall. There was special puja, homa, chandipath etc. 1900 devotees partook of cooked prasad, while more than 3000 received prasad in hand throughout the day. Moreover, prasad was given to people of nearby slums and to an orphanage. The General Secretary released the Silver Jubilee Souvenir and delivered a short but inspiring speech.

In this connection a public meeting was organized at the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark, on 8th April, 2023. Pravrajika Dhyanaprana, Secretary read out a report of the centre before an audience of about 700. A few eminent speakers gave informative and inspiring speeches on the topic ‘Universality of the Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Movement and Sri Sri Ma’.

Inauguration of the Higher Secondary Section

Pravrajika Amalaprana, General Secretary inaugurated the Higher Secondary Section of the Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Sister Nivedita Girls’ School at 3B, Nivedita Lane on 30th March – Ramnavami day. On this occasion the General Secretary released the book ‘Laho Anjali Laho Pranam’ written by Pravrajika Japaprana. Sannyasinis, Brahmacharinis, students and devotees attended the function. Prasad was given to all.

The President of the Rotary Club of Calcutta presented ‘The Vocational Services Excellence Awards - 2023’ to the Matribhavan at a function held in Rotary Sadan on 28th March, 2023.

38 students of Matribhavan Nursing College appeared at the B.Sc. Nursing 2nd Semester Examination 2023, conducted by West Bengal University of Health Sciences (session 2021-2025). 37 students passed successfully.
